By Sam Ames: In regards to staggering the Categories / ages I am confident the officials and myself will stagger the fields....faster guys first by a couple minutes.

By Sam Ames: Half Price on 2nd day of racing -- This should be No problem as long as you qualify to enter both races based upon your category of eligibilities...

2008 Race Route:

Follow directions as listed on the race flyer (GEC2008).... from the Bakersfield Speedway race track, proceed North on North Chester Extension from the speedway to Granite Road, turn right. Follow Granite Road to the bridge / Poso Creek (cross over the brige on the Road). Turn right on Round Mountain Road. Follow Round Mountain Road around, up the climb, down the descent, thru the rollers all the way thru the oilfields to Manor Drive. Turn right to North Chester Avenue, turn right. Turn right on North Chester Extension back to the speedway.
