Interested in Volunteering at the 27th Annual Spooktacular?

VOLUNTEERS
The Spooktacular Volunteer Committee is broken up into 4 main groups to aid in organizing this ride. We are looking for people that would like to volunteer or even lead up these groups. Each broad group is broken down into specific tasks, if you know exactly what it is that you’d like to be involved in, let us know and we’ll make sure you are in the right group. Please let us know as soon as you can, so that we can plan. We appreciate your help and could not do this without our devoted volunteers.

REST STOP GROUPS
Early in the season we got requests for certain rest stops and groups that would like to man the rest stop and ideas they have for that spot. If you are interested in one of the following rest stop areas, let us know as the prime areas are already starting to get snagged up.

Volunteers receive shirts, so volunteer early so that we order your size.

CHARITIES
Request for charity submissions! The Kern Wheelmen Board is accepting letters requesting donations to local charities that may or may not be cycling related (outspoken@kernwheelmen.org) Let us know why the Spooktacular should support their cause. We will pick a few charities prior to the event, so that we can also allow for participants to make additional donations at the event if they choose. The event’s proceeds are used to run the event again next year and also to cover charity donations.
