We will be leaving the Woody Post Office at 7 AM Saturday the 25th and pointing the front wheel uphill towards Alta Sierra. We will stop to regroup at the Glennville store (10mi.)so bring a little cash for refreshing. Then on to Alta Sierra (15mi.)to the top and turn around point. We will regroup as necessary on the way depending on the ability of the group (No Rider Left Behind) You will get lots of encouragement though! We will again stop at the Glennville store for some more refreshment and then coast on down to Woody after a brief climb (400 ft)out of Glennville. Remember 3 F per 1000 feet elevation gain and the high in Bakersfield Saturday is forecast 94 F. Check the route maps on this site for correct mileage and elevation gain/loss and other details.
